Ivy Tech Community College Muncie is celebrating historic gains in enrollment, completions, and workforce impact, further solidifying its role as Indiana’s workforce engine following the passage of Senate Enrolled Act 254. This statewide designation recognizes Ivy Tech as the central driver of Indiana’s talent pipeline, aligning education with employer needs and fueling economic growth.

Under the leadership of Chancellor Jeffrey D. Scott, the Muncie campus is delivering on that mission with record-setting performance across every major student sector.

• Total Headcount (Unduplicated): 6,471 students (up 10%)

• K-12 Dual Credit / Early College: 2,779 students (up 10.5%)

• Undergraduate Programs: 3,943 students (up 0.6%)

• Workforce Training: 1,003 students (up 62.3%)

Over the last five years, Ivy Tech Muncie has seen academic momentum skyrocket, including a 19% increase in total enrollment, a 41.5% jump in degree and certificate completions, and a steady 1.5% increase in Fall-to-Spring retention.

Ivy Tech Muncie’s mission-wide growth over the last five years further highlights its transformation into a regional powerhouse:

• Workforce training participation: Up 113%

• K-12 student participation: Up 50%

• Total credential completions: Up 50%

• Total student headcount: Up 28%
