Are you looking for opportunities to gain valuable research and work experience by applying some of the concepts you have been learning about in your biology or biotech classes?

Here’s a summer internship opportunity to consider!

Through a collaboration with the National Science Foundation (NSF), Indiana University Indianapolis (IUI), Ivy Tech Community College, and the Center for Environmental Sustainability through Insect Farming (CEIF), we are looking to recruit two students for a 15-week research internship at IUI.

The selected interns will learn how to apply bioinformatics, genomics, and molecular biology principles, focusing on insects as a sustainable protein source. Furthermore, the two selected students will have the (fully paid-for) opportunity to attend the fall CEIF meeting in Raleigh, North Carolina, network with industry members, and present their summer research!

If you are passionate about the intersection of science and sustainability, seize this chance to make a meaningful impact!

This is a competitive application that you must submit by Friday, March 1, and you must be available for the full 15 weeks this summer.
