Through the Meijer Simply Give Campaign, you can support hunger relief in the Indianapolis area.

From Sunday, April 2, through Saturday, July 1, Meijer shoppers can purchase $10 Simply Give donation cards at the Meijer store, located at 5550 N. Keystone Ave., that will be donated directly to Ivy Tech Indianapolis’ IvyCARES Food Pantry.

At the end of the campaign, the final totals at our partnering Meijer location on Keystone Avenue – in addition to any online sales, Meijer matching, and other promotions – will be converted into Meijer food-only gift cards.

The Simply Give cards will allow our IvyCARES Food Pantry staff members to purchase food and eligible baby items, including food, formula, diapers, and wipes either in-store or through Meijer’s corporate Business to Business team. These gift cards are intended to purchase food items to replenish our pantry’s shelves and are not distributed to individual families.

Meijer is a family-owned company that is focused on enriching lives in the communities it serves. Food insecurity continues to be on the rise in the communities we serve, which makes Ivy Tech Indianapolis and Meijer’s commitment to the cause vital.

Thanks to Meijer’s generous customers and a strong commitment from food pantry partners, the program has generated more than $79 million in food donations throughout the Midwest since its inception in November 2008.

Thank you for joining us as we work to help end hunger. We couldn’t do this without your support and partnership!
