High school seniors planning to attend Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis this summer or fall were officially welcomed into the Ivy Indy community during a Signing Day celebration hosted by the campus’ Enrollment Services and K-14 departments on Tuesday, May 12.
Held in Bowen Commons inside the recently renovated Illinois Fall Creek Center, the event brought together future students and their families for an evening of celebration, connection, and support as they prepare to begin their college journeys.
The celebration featured a campus resource fair where attendees had the opportunity to connect with teams from IvyLife, Financial Aid, the Registrar’s Office, and other student support departments designed to help students successfully transition into college life.
“Tonight is about welcoming you into the Ivy Tech community and recognizing the decision you’ve made to begin your college journey here with us. Let me start by saying something we truly believe: You made a GREAT choice!”

Bond also highlighted the campus’ ongoing “Reimagined for the Future” capital project and the ways it is transforming the student experience across Ivy Tech Indianapolis.
“When you arrive on campus for your first summer or fall classes, you’ll be stepping into a college that is actively transforming for the future. These improvements reflect something important: we are reimagining our campus and curriculum for the future — and that future includes the students in this room tonight.”

During the remarks, students were encouraged to see themselves as future leaders in the Indianapolis workforce and community.
“The students here this evening are not just Ivy Tech students,” Bond said. “You are future nurses, engineers, educators, entrepreneurs, technicians, designers, and community leaders who will help move Indianapolis forward.”
The event served as both a celebration and an introduction to the many resources available to students before classes begin this summer and fall 2026.
