Ivy Tech Indianapolis, in partnership with Congressman André Carson, hosted its 14th annual Indianapolis Job and Resource Fair on Tuesday, connecting Hoosier job seekers with top employers and community resources.
The event connected over 550 attendees with 80 leading employers and community partners, including major companies like:
- Eli Lilly and Company
- Eskenazi Health
- FedEx
- Indianapolis Zoo

Employers and participants praised the fair as one of the best they’ve attended.
“This event is a unique opportunity to serve both our students and our community,” Julie Johns-Cole, vice chancellor of Ivy+ Career Link at Ivy Tech Indianapolis, said. “We helped connect some of Indiana’s finest businesses and community organizations to hardworking job seekers. We take pride in knowing that as a team, we helped facilitate the chance of a better job and a better future for many fellow Hoosiers.”
Since its inception, the fair has served as a vital bridge between Indiana businesses and job seekers, reinforcing Ivy Tech’s commitment to workforce development and community engagement.
Future Opportunities
Employers and job seekers should stay tuned for next year’s job fair, as well as the Youth Opportunities Fair. Both are held at the downtown campus’ Conference Center & Culinary Institute.
The Youth Opportunities Fair is a free event in the spring that connects students and parents with year-round and summer employment, internships, volunteer roles, and service opportunities for youth of all ages. Non-working youth (under 14) can explore programs and volunteer opportunities. Working youth (teens and young adults) can discover jobs, internships, and skill-building experiences.
