The Ivy Tech Healthcare Academy represents our mission to expand access and opportunity. This program equips students with foundational knowledge, real-life experience, and the confidence to pursue careers in healthcare. It’s about giving students a head start—not just academically, but professionally.
– Dr. Terri Fleming, dean of the School of Health Sciences
In alignment with Ivy Tech’s goal of shaping Indiana’s future healthcare workforce, the Academy provides students with a strong understanding of the skills, education, and professionalism required in healthcare settings. From simulation labs to structured classroom time and campus resources, students are fully immersed in a college learning environment.
The 2025 Academy will culminate in a completion celebration on July 31 at the downtown campus, where students will showcase their growth, skills, and accomplishments in front of family, faculty, and industry partners.
Media are welcome to attend, and interviews with Ivy Tech leadership or participating students may be scheduled upon request.
