BLOOMINGTON – Code/IT Academy is accepting applicants for the next 10-week, information technology (IT) training class that starts February 17, 2026. Residents across the 11-county Indiana Uplands region are eligible to apply and training leads to local, in-demand careers in tech. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Code/IT Academy is beginner-friendly, no prior experience is needed. Participants will build essential skills and be prepared to earn the CompTIA Tech+ certification, qualifying them for entry-level IT roles.
The training class is free and loaner laptops are available. Accepted applicants will also receive career coaching, job search support, and the opportunity to continue their IT education.
The program is offered through a partnership between Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington, The Mill, and Regional Opportunity Initiatives.
