BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington is hiring part-time automotive technology instructors to teach 8-week courses. Day or evening classes are available and are held two times per week for three and half hours. The pay rate per class is $46.50 per hour for a total of 64 hours and classes begin January 16.

Course topics include:

  • Basic automotive service
  • Electrical systems
  • Brake systems
  • Steering and suspension
  • Engine performance systems
  • Driveline systems
  • Engine fundamentals and repair
  • Climate control systems and more

Requirements for instructors include ASE certification and five years of experience or an associate degree or higher in automotive technology, ASE certification, and three years of experience.
