Teacher workshops offered at Ivy Tech

Ivy Tech-Bloomington’s Corporate College is offering Indiana K-12 teachers an opportunity to earn up to 11 Professional Growth Points through two workshops.

Registration is now open for the workshops, which will be held at Burton Kimble Farms in Orange County.

The Teacher’s Poetry Kit workshop will take place 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, June 25, and will teach creative methods for introducing children of different ages to poetry.

The Value of Humor in Teaching workshop will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, July 9, and will examine the benefits of humor-filled interactions for students, families and education professionals.
