Commit to Complete at Ivy Tech
Fall semester is in full swing, and we want you to take the next step: Commitment. But why?
Completion Matters. The Community College Completion Corps has the data to back this up. Only 39.1% of first-time college students who enroll in a community college earn a credential from a two- or four-year institution within the first six years. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2013 the unemployment rate among those who had a high school diploma was at 7.5%, while those with an associate degree had an unemployment rate of 5.4%.
Completion is so much more than numbers though, it's a commitment to finish your education and reach your goals. Here at Ivy Tech, we want you to reach your goals for yourself and your family.
Are you ready to take the next step? Every year around October, be sure to stop back by to sign the Commit to Complete pledge. By signing the pledge, you are joining thousands of others in their commitment to complete their education. Not only this, but we will keep in contact with you throughout your years at Ivy Tech, and provide you the tools and support you need to complete your education.
The campuses below will also have Commit to Complete events in October - be sure to check back for those when it's closer to the time!
