Our team is here to help you find options to make your education affordable. We encourage all students to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application is required to qualify for any student aid, like scholarships, grants, and loans. Watch the video below and visit our financial aid page to learn more about the FAFSA and what aid you may qualify for.
There are several ways you can demonstrate you are ready to take program-level courses (courses 100 level and above). Completing course placement helps us understand what classes you’d best fit into, so you’re successful as a student. Watch this video for a quick summary of your options, or learn more by visiting our course placement page.
Ivy Tech accepts college credit from certain institutions, regardless of age! If you’ve already earned college credit through dual credit classes or by attending another college or university, make sure you transfer those credits to see if they count toward your credential. This process is free and can save you time and money on your degree.
Once you’ve completed the New Student Checklist, you’ll be ready to register for classes. But you don’t have to figure out your schedule on your own! Your academic advisor will help you create an Academic Completion Plan, then build a schedule that matches your goals.
It’s important to make sure you’re prepared to pay for college. Watch this video for a quick overview of your options! You can pay in full, set up a payment plan, or get help covering costs with financial aid.
Everyone needs a little help sometimes! IvyCares is here to provide “wraparound services,” the additional support beyond tuition and textbook coverage that can help you through your academic journey. With IvyCares, you can get connected with campus and community resources that offer emergency aid, resources that address food insecurity, and more.
If you or your family member(s) are currently or formerly in the military, then you may qualify for VA benefits. Remember to explore your benefit options, apply for benefits, and contact your local Veteran & Military Benefits Specialist if you have any questions.
Do you have a disability or think you may have a disability? If so, there are resources and services available to aid your success at the College. Learn about the Disability Support Services Office and submit an Accommodation Request Form to start the process.
