The Ivy+ Career Link team provides quality customized and open enrollment training opportunities for clients and community members in our campus service that are seeking to learn more about specialized areas. Qualified instructors are needed to develop and deliver various contract and open enrollment trainings. Classes are conducted either in a continuing education classroom environment, live online, or at the client site in the morning, afternoon or evening sessions during weekdays or weekends.

Ivy+ Career Link instructors for this position should be prepared to create and deliver content. A variety of topics or areas will be offered so the audience can draw from personal and professional enrichment. Instructors are expected to provide quality teaching materials including documentation to substantiate teaching.

Ivy Tech Community College-Hamilton County is looking for non-credit course instructors with proficiency in a subject area as demonstrated by a completed higher education program, certifications, and/or equivalent professional or volunteer experience reflected in a professional resume.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver non-credit, skills-based classes as assigned.

  • Providing a learning environment that supports student success.

  • Collaborate and cooperate with the Ivy+ Career Link Employer Consultant to confirm dates and times, content, pricing, and planning for courses.

  • Teach and train classes as assigned in workplace and campus locations within programming designed to meet specific company learning objectives. 

  • Teaching load is dictated by project, or projects, not credit hour production.

  • Work a flexible schedule as dictated by the client company training demand.

  • Maintain records on student attendance, grades, and other information.

  • Develop materials as necessary for the effective delivery of curriculum.

  • Initiate and follow through on evaluation processes that determine the viability of each and every training program delivered.

  • Assist in the identification of facility and equipment needs in the classroom.

  • Participate in training and professional development as needed.

Administrative Coordinator, Academic & Facilities Operations

Primary Role:
Provide professional administrative and operational support to the Schools of Health Sciences/Nursing and the Facilities Department. This position serves as the first point of contact for guests, students, faculty, vendors, and community partners, ensuring a welcoming environment and efficient routing of inquiries, service requests, and campus needs. The role functions as a shared administrative resource supporting academic operations, facilities services, scheduling, purchasing coordination, and campus data management. Front Desk and Campus Reception Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary greeter for all visitors entering Johnson Hall.

The Director of Enrollment Services provides strategic leadership and executive oversight of enrollment operations that support students from pre-matriculation through the first several weeks of their initial semester. Public Safety & Emergency Preparedness Lead

The Lead reports directly to the Executive Director of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness (PSEP) in providing day-to-day supervision, oversight, and leadership for public safety and emergency preparedness for the campus. The Lead works collaboratively with the Chancellor, the Executive Director of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, the Executive Director of Emergency Management and Continuity, the Executive Director of Clery Compliance, and other key campus stakeholders.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the recruitment, selection, retention, and development of campus Public Safety staff.
  • Provides direct supervision to campus Public Safety staff.
  • Works with the Executive Director of Emergency Management and Continuity to implement comprehensive emergency management and business continuity plans and practices on campus.
  • Works with the Executive Director of Emergency Management and Continuity, Chancellor, and campus leadership to plan, draft, and execute progressive Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program compliant drills and exercises.
  • Works with the Executive Director of Clery Compliance to ensure campus compliance with the Clery Act.
  • Collaborates with Chancellor and the Executive Director of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness to establish a threat and risk based front-line security staffing plan.
  • Acts upon guidance, in line with PSEP standards, for physical security including but not limited to surveillance camera systems and electronic access control.
  • Provides PSEP leadership during campus crisis or emergency and liaise with Executive Director of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness.
  • Meets regularly with campus safety committee to identify and address safety concerns and issues relating to safety on campus.
  • Serving as a model for strong leadership, develops and supports the Campus culture of team collaboration and commitment to delivering high quality services and outcomes, by being student- and employee-centered.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s preferred.

A minimum of 2 years of related experience showing a progression of responsibility and supervision, preferably in post-secondary education.

Must possess excellent organizational, planning, evaluation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to partner well with colleagues both in and outside of the organization.

About the Role:
The Senior Success Coach provides proactive, holistic coaching to support student persistence, engagement, and completion. Success Coaches utilize coaching strategies, early intervention, and coordinated outreach systems to help students develop the skills, behaviors, and resource connections necessary for academic success.
