Six Sigma Green Belt Online
Six Sigma Green Belts are Six Sigma quality improvement team members who operate under the guidance of a Six Sigma Black Belt. Green Belts apply their knowledge and skills to analyze and solve problems by utilizing tools and processes for the pursuit of Six Sigma quality level.
Six Sigma Green Belt Online will provide participants with an overview of Six Sigma and the DMAIC problem solving methodology. Included, are both statistical and theoretical techniques used for continuous process improvement, such as process definition, process flow diagrams, data collection, measurement, causes of process variation, pareto diagrams, histograms, cause and effect diagrams, control charts and process capability analysis. During this course, participants will be challenged with the opportunity to apply their learning to a facilitated and actual Six Sigma project.
The blended e-learning concept of this course allows participants flexibility and mobility in accessing coursework combined with facilitation of an instructor and periodic face-to-face meetings and applied learning activities.
Unlike most Six Sigma certificate training programs, this course intends to prepare participants for a nationally/globally recognized professional certification "ASQ's Certified Six Sigma Green Belt"
NOTE: This certification exam is optional and participants must apply to sit for examination with the American Society for Quality. Requires a minimum of three years work experience related to the CSSGB body of knowledge
