Graduation Reception

The Student Government Association is hosting a Graduation Awards Reception on May 4, drop-in 5-6:30p.m. at Ivy Tech Terre Haute - Clocktower Parking Lot. Pick up your graduation t-shirt, chat with fellow graduates and faculty, and enjoy refreshments! Click to RSVP for the reception.

Guest Ticket Information

Because capacity for Hulman Center is reduced, due to COVID-19 restrictions, each graduate can reserve a maximum of four guest tickets to the appropriate college ceremony. There is no electronic guest list, so guests must bring their physical tickets to enter the Hulman Center to attend.

Guest ticket reservations are available online at link.ivytech.edu/grad21. Tickets will be mailed unless campus pickup is chosen. Children who have reached their second birthday will also require a ticket.

All guest tickets must be ordered before 5 p.m. on April 23, 2021. After April 23, if extra tickets are available, graduates will be notified of the opportunity to reserve additional guest tickets. Pickup dates are April 29, 30, May 3, or May 4 between 9am-4pm at Ivy Tech Terre Haute, 8000 S. Education Drive, Terre Haute - Chancellor's Office (C132).

If you have questions about tickets, contact Charlotte Reed, creed21@ivytech.edu, 812-298-2201.

Apprentice students will need to coordinate ticket pickup with Deanne Wilson. Apprentice guest tickets will NOT be mailed or available for pickup on campus.

Ceremony Information

Doors to Hulman Center will open at 6:00 p.m. Parking is available in the parking garage west of Hulman Center, $5 per car. Hulman Center guidelines require all graduates and guests to wear a face covering over their nose and mouth. Anyone feeling ill should not attend. Graduates will receive a commemorative mask upon entry.

Graduates must enter through the street level North doors (not the ramp) located at Eagle Street to check in, and will be seated immediately. Ticketed guests must enter via the South (Cherry St.), East (9th St.), and West (8th St.) entrances, where their tickets will be collected. Once tickets have been collected, guests must proceed to their designated section and choose seats. Please practice social distancing from other groups of guests. The Hulman Center concourse will be closed for gathering.

During the ceremony, degrees will be presented to all graduates to individually acknowledge their accomplishments. This year, we congratulate the Class of 2020 and 2021 on their achievements.

Following the ceremony, guests must exit Hulman Center immediately to reunite with graduates outside. Due to social distancing requirements, re-entry will not be permitted.

Further instructions may need to be shared closer to the ceremony. Should you have any questions or have additional needs, please let us know. We look forward to having you with us on May 5 and 6.
