Ivy Tech has options for ITT Technical Institute students

Now is the best time for former ITT Technical Institute students to return to college and complete a credential!

On August 16, 2022, the U.S. Department of Education announced it will discharge all remaining federal student loans received by students to attend the former ITT Technical Institute, which closed in 2016.

If you’re a former ITT Technical Institute student, we encourage you to take a Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) at your nearest Ivy Tech campus. This will allow Ivy Tech to evaluate your credentials to see how much credit you are qualified to receive* – which could save you a significant amount of time and money.

Your ITT Technical Institute transcript may also be helpful in evaluating what credit you are qualified to receive*. You can request an official copy of your ITT transcript online through Parchment.
