About CCEC

The Office of Career Coaching and Employer Connections (CCEC) at Ivy Tech Evansville provides services and development to students, alumni, and employers. CCEC combines the efforts of career development and employer engagement to address the needs of both students and employers/workforce in our community. This new, strategic approach will emphasize career readiness practices alongside preparation throughout a student's college experience. Additionally, employers will be engaged to provide valuable input in the student’s experience, while still receiving targeted services to address their workforce needs. Check out our Workforce Alignment webpage.

Through CCEC, all Ivy Tech Evansville students will:
  • Create a career development portfolio: students will create and showcase to employers a resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, work and learn experiences, and the professional network and connections they have built with support from their CCEC team.
  • Work with a career coach: focused, one-to-one relationship to help the student determine the right steps for their career path that match their values, interests, personality and skills.
  • Participate in work and learn opportunities: opportunity to build relationships with employers and gain direct experience in careers that interest the student, such as working alongside professionals in a tech company, or assisting on a Human Resources team in a healthcare organization.

Faculty/Staff Request a Presentation

Faculty & Staff Resources

Faculty and staff are crucial to the career success of our students and alumni. Additionally, faculty and staff can play a key in working with employers who are interested in placing students in work-based experiences, or even full- or part-time employment.  We understand the valuable impact you have on students, alumni and employers. Our staff looks forward to collaborating with you through the faculty and staff services:

  • Classroom visitations and presentations
  • Annual statistical reports and surveys
  • Centralized employment assistance
  • Job market and future employment trends
  • Tracking information
  • Work-based experiences (i.e. internships, externships, co-ops, etc.)

Request a Presentation
Invite CCEC staff to provide an overview of programs or services or tailored presentations regarding career exploration, resumes, interviewing, the job/internship search process, professional networking, panel discussions and more.

Please note: CCEC staff may not be able to accommodate all classroom presentation requests. This may include evening classes, weekend classes, and classes at campuses without a staff presence. Thanks in advance for understanding if we cannot attend in person.
