Duties and Responsibilities:
• Helping prospective applicants with the Work-Study Application process.
• Assisting in the posting process & record maintenance.
• Working collaboratively with supervisor to provide research on participants to ensure they are continually in compliance with the program requirements (e.g. weekly schedule checks, etc.).
• Assisting Work-Study Coordinator in Work-Study Program promotion.
• Assisting with maintaining spreadsheets as needed.
• Copying.
• Filing.
• Supports Department in specific tasks as needed during peak-times; Complete special projects as assigned.
• Follow-up and research activities as needed for assigned tasks.
• Provide answers regarding program questions to interested parties.
General Qualifications:
• Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Be able to communicate well orally and work well with diverse student populations.
• Maintain enrollment in eligible courses.
• Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status.
• Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater.
• Projects positive image for Ivy Tech Community College.
• Display a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be dependable, responsible and organized.
• Must work cooperatively with others and accept direction from supervisors.
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be able to practice confidentiality in all aspects of work.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Confidentiality must be maintained and followed along with FERPA regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
