DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for general maintenance, which includes cleaning glassware and other equipment, as well as maintaining an orderly, safe environment.
Responsible for preparation of equipment
Assist faculty in setting up kitchen, preparing food, and cleaning up afterwards.
Perform periodic inventory of supplies and equipment, and work with supervisor to maintain supply and order consumable materials.
Work with supervisor and/or faculty to obtain OSHA, food safety, and other applicable regulations and apply them as needed.
Perform clerical work associated with the facilities.
Follow IVY Tech Community College policies regarding reporting and management of laboratory accidents.
Complete required paperwork, such as timesheets, in a timely manner.
Any other duties assigned by supervisor and/or faculty that pertain to the laboratory.
Education, Experience And Other Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience in commercial kitchen preferred
