Salary:
$32,772 to $41,205 Compensation will be commensurate with the requirements of the position and the candidate’s relevant experience and education.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to external/internal customers.
Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars for staff.
Answer telephone and routine questions on the TAAC phone line and routes calls to appropriate staff members.
Assist with telephone calls on the main Ivy Tech line in conjunction with other front desk staff members in Student Affairs.
Maintain office filing system in addition to office supplies, and complete necessary submission of forms, P.O.'s, etc.
Create and maintain computer data files and reporting systems.
Ability to interact and communicate with a diverse constituency.
Compile survey data and create reports.
Ability to type at least 35 WPM.
Ability to use the internet and other applications (i.e. Google Docs, SharePoint, etc.).
Ability to toggle between multiple systems.
Working with Banner 9 to gather student data
Possess working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, data management, and desktop publishing software. (Microsoft Office)
Help guide and mentor Work Study students that are working at the front desk

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires two years of college coursework in office practices or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Must have previous work experience in an office environment.
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to handle multiple tasks

Transcripts and/or relevant certifications/licenses required at time of hire
