The Recruitment Office and Events Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations, outreach initiatives, and customer service functions of the Recruitment Office. This position contributes to the recruitment and enrollment goals of the institution by ensuring prospective students, families, and community partners receive timely and accurate information. The role offers meaningful exposure to professional office environments and higher education practices, providing opportunities for the Coordinator to develop transferable skills in communication, organization, event coordination, and data management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as a point of contact for visitors to the Admissions Office, providing courteous and accurate information regarding admissions processes, campus services, and events.
• Respond to general email and phone inquiries, and direct questions to the appropriate staff member.
• Prepare and distribute admissions packets, correspondence, and promotional materials.
• Support planning, coordination, and execution of admissions events, including open houses, campus tours, orientations, and information sessions.
• Schedule prospective student appointments and campus visits as directed.
• Maintain inventory of admissions materials and ensure office areas are organized and presentable.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the Office of Admissions.

General Qualifications:
• Must be a currently enrolled student at Ivy Tech Community College/Columbus Service Area and eligible for a federal work-study award.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.


Required qualifications:


1.Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.

2.Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status


Pay Rate: $15/hr.
