Essential Functions:
- Open and secure buildings as required.
- Professionally assist students and staff alike.
- Oversee daily operation of the Anderson Campus in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.
- Daily sorting/routing/deliveries of common carriers.
- Coordination/management of general institutional expendable supplies.
- Building Construction-New installations, remodeling and preventive maintenance of ceilings, walls and floors.
- Electrical-Assist advanced Maintenance Mechanics in installation of new electrical outlets and cabling.
- Plumbing-Assist advanced Maintenance Mechanics in plumbing installation.
- Equipment-Assist advanced Maintenance Mechanics in preventive maintenance/repair of motorized and specialized equipment.
- Grounds-weed control, landscaping, trimming, clean parking lots, driveways and sidewalks.
- Provide leadership and supervision to part-time and temporary employees..
- Assist the Maintenance Manager as needed.

Minimum job requirements (education, experience, and skills) required to perform essential functions:
- High school diploma or GED, proven experience in the building trades preferred.
- Physically able to perform the duties of the position.
- Punctual, well groomed, dependable and able to get along well with others.
- Strong organizational abilities, basic math/bookkeeping skills
- General computer literacy (or be willing to receive immediate training)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experiences in the building trades preferred.
