Certificate Programs in Partnership with WorkOne

Advanced Manufacturing Program

Start your manufacturing career or enhance the one you already have by participating in this scholarship funded training program! Graduates of the program will be Certified Production Technicians (CPTs), with industry-recognized credentials earned through the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council.


Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Training

Successful students will leave this course with the EPA 608 Refrigerant Recovery certification, as well as the basic skills required by most potential employers to obtain an entry-level job in the HVAC, building maintenance, or refrigeration fields. Course topics include safety, EPA regulations, tool and meter use, basic electricity, refrigeration, heating systems, troubleshooting techniques, and more.

Certified Clinical Medical Assisting Program

The Clinical Medical Assisting program is designed to prepare students to function as professionals in multiple healthcare settings. Medical assistants with a clinical background perform various clinical tasks including assisting with the administration of medications and with minor procedures, performing an electrocardiogram (EKG), obtaining laboratory specimens for testing, educating patients, and other related tasks. Job opportunities are prevalent with physician’s offices, clinics, chiropractor’s offices, hospitals and outpatient facilities. The class includes 140 hours instructional time over 14 weeks, plus an exam administered by the National Healthcareer Association.
