Beginning Mountain Dulcimer Registration Extended!
Come to the Farm to learn in the relaxed country atmosphere of an Old Farmhouse, the Patchwork Barn, and two sweet Shetland ponies. Randy Tuell will be on hand to teach in his patient manner. Some students are coming back to repeat Beginning Classes to make sure they have a solid grounding on this intriguing instrument. And you don’t have to already own a dulcimer because instruments will be available for your use. In this class you will learn to play simple melodies, chords, how to read the dulcimer tablature, tuning and strumming. No previous musical experience is required. The last 30 minutes of the class will be devoted to added personal instruction. You are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch to enjoy at the end of your class. There’s lots of shade and a comfy porch with rocking chairs.
