The Office of Student Support and Development, and the Indiana University Center for Human Growth, are proud to host the Counseling and Outreach Program. This program provides services to Ivy Tech students in the form of individual counseling.  All counseling is provided on a confidential basis. Individual sessions are typically scheduled once a week and last 50 minutes. Group sessions last 90 minutes one evening per week through the academic year.

Counseling is tailored to an individual's needs and may include topics such as:  

  •     Personal development
  •     Relationship skills
  •     Balancing work, family, and school
  •     Time management
  •     Family problems
  •     Anxiousness
  •     Grief and loss
  •     Stress management
  •     Communicating with others
  •     Feeling down
  •     Boyfriend/girlfriend troubles
