Christopher Burnett - Ivy Tech CompTIA Graduate
Christopher enrolled in the CompTIA program because he saw it as a path to help him move out of the automotive field, where he felt stagnant, and had been involved in most of his life. Christopher demonstrated a vision and inherent drive to advance, and he saw the IT field as the vehicle to move up and out of his current circumstances and utilize his skills and passion for technology.
Christopher stayed focused, despite stressors with employment, finances, and experiencing a personal loss during the program.
Christopher ultimately passed both CompTIA exams and attributed program support and learning time management and structure to his success.
Christopher succeeded due to staying connected to his “why” which was the idea of a better life and a career where he could feel valued and have opportunities to advance. He also utilized his resources - specifically coaching and CompTIA program support - which gave him the space to reflect and cultivate skills and stay on the path towards his vision of a career in IT.
