Tuition and Fees

Your education doesn't have to cost a fortune, thanks to Ivy Tech Community College. Ivy Tech offers the most affordable education in Indiana, less than half the cost of other colleges and universities. Ivy Tech allows you to make the most of your time and your money.

Financial Aid
Many types of financial aid are available, such as grants, scholarships and student loans. Students interested in applying for aid must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Indiana residents pay $107.80 per credit hour.

Out-of-state residents pay $230.20 per credit hour (face to face classes only).

Out-of-state Ivy Tech Online (Distance Education) students pay $140.15 per credit hour (plus the online course fee of $20 per credit hour).

Other Costs and Fees
Books - Costs vary by course. The average cost for books and supplies is $39.23 per credit hour (based on an average of 13 credit hours per semester).

Fees for consumable instructional supplies - applies for selected courses.

Miscellaneous Student Fees

Nursing and Dental Hygiene Program Fee - There is a charge of $62.50 per semester for students in either program.

Online courses - There is a $20 per credit hour charge for internet-based Ivy Tech Online courses which includes the following instructional methods: I - Online, C - Online and IP, V - IP Video, S - Synchronous Video, H - Online and Face to Face.

Technology Fee - The student technology fee is only $60 per semester.

Tools - For some courses, students must furnish hand tools and specialized equipment.

Uniforms - Certain programs require uniforms or special safety clothing.

Payment of Fees
You must arrange to pay all fees when you register. Students are officially registered and free to attend class after all fees are satisfied. You may pay with a personal check, cash, Visa, MasterCard or tuition payment plan.

The payment deadline for the Spring 2012 semester is by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, you will be dropped from your classes. If you register after Wednesday, January 4, 2012, you must pay in full or make arrangements to pay immediately upon registering or you will be dropped from classes.
