PCLC Sack Lunch Series

The first and third Thursdays of each month, the Parke County Learning Center (PCLC) invites the public to bring a sack lunch and learn something new and exciting. From noon to 1:00 p.m., the PCLC will host a guest speaker for a public discussion on a variety of topics. The 2013 series has a monthly theme.

Seating is limited to 25 people, so reservations will be required. Call Vic Fields at the Parke County Learning Center, 765-569-1065, to reserve your spot during the topic of your choice.

May 16	Visit Peachey's Bulk Food Store near Rockville Lake. A visit to Peachey's will give you the opportunity to find food items that are not regularly available in your local supermarket. Fresh baked items, local cheeses and many local Amish canned goods make up Peachey's great selection of foods. Rudy Peachey and his family will welcome our purchases and questions.
"Parke County State Park" June 6	Visit beautiful Turkey Run State Park. Parke County historian Randy Wright will share lunch with us and the history behind this amazing park.
June 20	Visit Parke County's hidden treasure, Shades State Park. Parke County historian Randy Wright will share lunch with us and the history of this lesser known but immensely beautiful park.
