The Student Counseling Center provides personal counseling services free of charge to currently enrolled students.  For more information on the Student Counseling Center, please log on to Campus Connect, click on the Student Services tab and click on the Student Counseling Center link in the Student Resources channel.

News and Updates:

The Student Counseling Center will be closed through the summer and will reopen the first week of the Fall semester. To make an appointment, CALL 298-2398 and leave your name, number, and a brief message. Or e-mail (mbruder_ne@ivytech.edu). We check messages frequently, please allow a business day for us to return your message.

What services are available?

The Student Counseling Center offers individual counseling to any Ivy Tech student.  Through "talk therapy," the student and counselor work together on issues that the student wishes to attend to.  Some common concerns addressed in counseling are:

  • Relationship difficulties
  • Test anxiety
  • Stress management
  • Time management
  • Depression
  • Generalized anxiety
  • Substance abuse
