Refund Policy & Withdrawal/Drop Policy
Refund Policy

All refunds are issued by check and may take 7 to 10 working days for processing. All refund checks will be mailed to the address shown on the Course Reservation Form unless other written instructions are received.

Students eligible for financial aid should understand that failure to attend class could cancel eligibility and the student could be responsible for the total tuition and any other outstanding charges. Title IV recipients will have refunds calculated as required by federal regulations. A copy of this policy is available upon request.

The College will refund a portion of refundable fees if written notification of withdrawal from the course (or courses) is received by the deadlines established by the College. Courses of less than sixteen weeks will have refunds pro-rated based on the length of the class.

Please note... Refund period may be different for courses that begin or end on different dates. Contact the Office of Student Affairs for more information regarding your particular course. The starting date of classes in the Nursing program may be different than that of other programs. In this event, the above refund schedule may change accordingly. All fee refunds are issued by check and may take up to three weeks for processing. All refund checks will be mailed to the address shown on the Course Reservation Form unless other written instructions are received.

Attendance! Students eligible for financial aid should understand that failure to attend class could cancel financial aid eligibility and the student could be responsible for the total tuition and any other outstanding charges. In addition, failure to attend class does not reduce the student's account balance and does not generate a refund. Title IV aid recipients will have refunds calculated as required by federal regulations. This policy is available upon request from the Financial Aid Office.

Withdrawal/Drop

The college will not drop students for non-payment prior to the appropriate Final Payment Due Date below. Dropped students may not attend class or be graded. If a student has not paid or is not current with the payment schedule by the last date for withdrawal, the student shall be withdrawn from the class, and the tuition balance is still due and payable. Regions will be allowed to remove unpaid students from full classes to accommodate students who are prepared to pay. Any individual student exceptions to the above policy must be approved in writing by the Chancellor or designee.

Note: In the event there is a term length not identified by the above categories, the Region will follow the guidelines of the next shorter term length.

Any student who has not paid or made arrangements to pay tuition and fees as per the above schedule will be dropped from classes.
