- Click on the “I Agree” button at the “Acceptable
Use Policy” page
- Supply the following 4 pieces of information and click
“Next”.
- Legal name.
- The last 4 digits of your social security number.
- Your date of birth in mmddyyyy format.
- The zip code of your current mailing address.
- You must now choose a new password. Your password needs
to be a minimum 8 characters and alphanumeric. Click “Next”.
- Please answer the following security questions when prompted.
Click “Next” when finished.
- What is your mother's maiden name?
- What is your city of birth?
- What is your favorite color?
- What is your favorite band?
- What is your first pet's name?
- What are the last 4 digits of driver's license?
- Click on the link that takes you to the main Campus Connect
login page.
If you don’t know or cannot remember your username,
visit https://cc.ivytech.edu and click on the “Forgotten
Username?” link.

- You can now change your password: the password must be
8 characters and must contain at least one letter and one
number (the password is case sensitive so if you create
your password in lowercase, then you must enter your password
in lower case when you attempt to log into Campus Connect)
- To log into Campus Connect, click on the “Click
here to log in” link or to reset your password, click
on the “Click here to reset your password” link

| To Move a Tab
To move a tab, simply select the appropriate arrow for the
direction you want the tab to move
To Add a Tab
To add either a traditional tab (a tab that contains channels)
or framed tab (a tab that displays an external website instead
of channels)
- Click on the “Add New Tab”
- Type in a name for your new tab
- Select the type of tab you want to create by clicking
on the radio button next to the tab type (you need to type
in the web address of the site you want displayed in a framed
tab)
- Next select the location you would like the tab to appear
by clicking the radio button next to the existing tab you
would like the new tab placed by; By default, new tabs go
at the end of the non-grayed out tab buttons

To edit an existing tab, click on the tab name and make the
necessary modifications including deleting the tab or changing
to a traditional tab (be sure to rename the tab and click
the appropriate button to finish each change)

| How to move a channel
To move a channel, simply select the appropriate arrow for
the direction you want the channel to move
How to add a channel
- To add a channel, click on the tab you want the channel
added to and then the Add Channel button
- From the drop down menu, select the category of channel
you want added and click on the Go button
- At the next window, select the channel you want to add
from the drop down and then the Add Channel button (the
new channel will display at the bottom of column it was
created in)

| How to move a column
To move a column, simply select the appropriate “Select
Column” button arrow for the direction you want the
column to move
How to add a column
- Click the “Add a Column” button within the
tab you want to add a column (the tab will be highlighted)
- Set the column width within the “Set Column Width”
field (the system will default to self generated numbers).
- Click the “Submit” button
Edit, resize or remove a column
To edit , resize or remove a column , click the "Select
Column" button within the tab that has the column you
want to work with and click on the appropriate arrow.

| How do I request a new group?
Select the GROUPS icon, from the icon bar in the top right
menu bar, and then select CREATE GROUP tab. The request will
be sent to the IVY TECH Groups Administrator for approval.
Groups are approved based on the IVY TECH groups policy, which
you must read before creating a group. As soon as your request
has been approved or rejected, you will receive an e-mail
notification, along with an explanation of the decision.
After modifying an existing announcement in my Group,
why do the group members see both the original and the modified
announcement? After modifying the original announcement
and posting it, you must delete the original announcement
to prevent both from appearing.
Is there a limit to the length of topics and messages
that can be posted in my Group?
Yes. The content of a topic is limited to 512 characters and
the content of a message is limited to 2048 characters.
I have placed a file in my Group but some of my group
members are not able to download it. Why?
Some web browsers cannot access filenames that have spaces
in them. When uploading files to your Group, ensure that the
filenames do not contain spaces.
