IVY
TECH NORTHCENTRAL
TESTING SITE SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
* Note: If you are
a returning Internet student please read carefully as the guidelines
for authorized testing sites have changed.
You will find test proctoring information for each Ivy Tech
campus, testing center, library or other site where you will take
your exams. Check the list here: Testing
Site List
At the beginning of your semester:
- If you are an Indiana student, choose an authorized
testing/proctoring site listed here: Testing
Site list. There is an authorized Ivy Tech campus, learning
center or library in each Indiana county. If you are unsure where
these sites are, contact information, such as phone & email
is provided on the list.
- If you are within a reasonable distance to an Ivy Tech campus, find this campus and take note of that campus' proctor contact information.
- If you cannot find an authorized testing site
near you, or if you are taking this course OUTSIDE THE STATE OF
INDIANA, email your instructor immediately and you will be assisted
in determining an approved site. A community college, library
or Commercial Testing Center (such as Sylvan Learning Center)
can qualify as an authorized site.
- Once you have your proctor contact information, send this information to your instructor. Different instrutors may ask for this information through different routes. For example, you may be asked to email this contact information to your instructor, or you may be ask to post the procotr information in your online course discussion board. Again, work with your instructor to clarify this; this procedure should be described in the course syllabus also.
