I'm
a student at another school but want to take an Internet course
from Ivy Tech - what do I do? There are two ways to register
for an Internet course:
Register as an Ivy Tech "Guest" student:
- Complete an Ivy Tech application (choose "Courses
Only" on the application)
- Provide an official copy of your transcripts to the Admissions
office (unofficial transcripts may be used temporarily to show you've
met the pre-requisites.)
- Enroll in your course through Ivy Tech.
You'll become an Ivy Tech student and be classified as "Guest
Student/Courses Only."
- Request
a grade transfer or transcripts from the Ivy Tech Registrar.
Additional information can be found here: Region
2 "Guest Students"
Register using the ICN Network & remain
a student at your school:
- Register through the ICN network.
-
You'll
remain a student at your school and will not be classified as an
Ivy Tech student
- Pay your usual tution
to your school (not Ivy Tech)
- You will be registered into a course
at your school but will do your classwork and contact your instructors
using Ivy Tech services
- Your final
grade from the Ivy Tech class will automatically
be sent to your school when the semester is complete.
