SOUTH BEND, IND. (May 23, 2007) – Ivy Tech Community College and Indiana Flight Center have recently partnered to offer private pilot and instrument pilot ground school training.  These courses deliver the fundamental training to prepare a student to take the FAA written exam and speed flight and are taught by experienced professional instructors and offer hands on experience. Students benefit from the modern classroom facilities and on-airport facilities. 

Private Pilot Ground School – This course is designed to prepare students to take the written portion of the FAA Private Pilot practical test. It also serves as supplementary instruction for students who are currently utilizing flight training.

Mondays and Wednesdays
June 4 – Aug. 8 (No class July 4)
6:30 p.m. -8:30 p.m.
Cost:  $500 (text and materials included)
