INDIANAPOLIS (Jan. 12, 2007) – Ivy Tech Community College received Indiana Commission for Higher Education approval today to offer an associate of science degree in Criminal Justice through online learning.
Criminal Justice is the tenth Ivy Tech program to be offered online; Ivy Tech also offers online degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Design Technology, Early Childhood Education, General Studies, Human Service, Library Technical Assistant and Office Administration. The college offers more than 320 courses online. Students may register for online programs and courses through any Ivy Tech Community College campus. Ivy Tech Community College is the state’s second largest public post-secondary institution with over 100,000 students enrolled annually. Ivy Tech has 23 campuses throughout Indiana. It serves as the state's engine of workforce development, offering affordable degree programs and training that are aligned with the needs of its community along with courses and programs that transfer to other colleges and universities in Indiana. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
