From your computer to your microwave, electronics is everywhere. If you enjoy figuring out how electronic equipment works and fixing it, our Electronics Technology Program is for you. Youll learn about AC/DC electronics, circuit theory and the application of solid state devices, digital principles, electronics communications and computer systems. And, youll be prepared for a career as a technician in a wide variety of electronics and related fields such as automation, telecommunications and computers.

Program description The Electronics Technology Program is competency-based and designed to meet the on-going needs of business, industry and the student. The program is structured to develop technical skills, general knowledge and critical thinking abilities. These skills assist the student in adapting to changes in the work environment and allow advancement in this quickly changing field. Students may specialize in Computer Systems/Networking or Electronics. An internship or co-op experience is included.Program optionsOptions include the Associate of Science (AS) degree, the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and the Career Development Certificate. Both the AS and AAS degree programs transfer into four-year programs at Bethel College, Ferris State University, Indiana State University and elsewhere.
