College Skills Placement EvaluationIvy Tech’s College Skills Placement Evaluation in reading, writing and math is a series of short placement tests. It is not an entrance exam and there is no “passing score.” Rather, your results identify your strengths now and areas you need to strengthen. They help your advisor know which classes to suggest to build on your skills and to identify classes for which you are eligible to enroll. The Placement Evaluation is required of new students entering a program or applying for financial aid and may also be required to meet course pre-requisite requirements. Any questions regarding a waiver of the Placement Evaluation, please contact the numbers listed below.
Call early to register for the most convenient time. This assures you of a space, and allows us to contact you if a schedule change occurs.
