Who can participate in Ivy Tech-PULL?
Elkhart County residents with a high school diploma or GED and the desire to succeed. Whether you’re 18, 28 or 58; busy raising a family, or finished with your parenting responsibilities; just out of high school, or just ready to do something for yourself, Ivy Tech-PULL can put you on the track for college.
How will I benefit?
You’ll learn keyboarding skills, explore career possibilities, and sharpen your skills in reading, writing and math. With PULL’s help, you’ll take the first steps toward college, set goals to learn job skills, and take control of your future.
When do classes meet?
Both mornings and evenings. Classes are small–usually 10-16 students–to allow for individual attention.
How long does it take to complete the PULL program?
Program completion time varies for each student. We’ll develop an Individualized Education Plan with you to help you achieve your goals.
How do I pay for classes?
Funding is available for qualifying students, including state and federal assistance, local agency tuition, and Ivy Tech-PULL scholarships.
How do I get started?
• Schedule an appointment with Ivy Tech-PULL
• Bring an official copy of your high school transcript or GED scores
• Show proof that you live in Elkhart County
• Take the academic placement test
• Register for classes during normal registration
• Attend classes regularly

About Ivy Tech’s Elkhart Campus
Many PULL students transition to the Ivy Tech Elkhart campus at 2521 Industrial Parkway.
The campus annually serves over 1,500 students with career/technical training and classes that transfer to many four-year institutions of higher education. Students can complete degree or certificate programs in over a dozen career areas without ever leaving the Elkhart campus, including:

Financial aid is readily available. Elkhart County residents taking classes through Ivy Tech Elkhart qualify automatically for the Lung Scholarship, which covers about one-half the cost of tuition for students not receiving other financial aid.
