SOUTH BEND, IND. (April 10, 2008) – Ivy Tech Community College-South Bend will host a brown bag lunch discussion, “Living the Green Life,” on Earth Day, April 22, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The community is invited to bring their own lunch and join the discussion in room 1148 at the college’s South Bend campus, 220 Dean Johnson Blvd.
Kathy Kent, chairperson of the School of Fine Arts and Design, will lead the discussion which will focus on integrating simple and economical green living tips into your home, garden, office and community. Participants will also look at over 101 ideas for green buying practices, home weatherization, gardening guidelines, energy efficiency and the five Rs of an environmentally-friendly lifestyle.
