| The Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana Testing Center provides an array of certification, professional, academic and college placement testing and assessment opportunities. From computer certification to college placement to GED to workforce certification, the Testing Center offers convenient testing and assessment service by partnering with premier testing organizations throughout the nation. Vue Ivy Tech works with Pearson Vue to provide quick, reliable and cost effective Internet testing for professionals. The extensive list of testing offerings is impressive. Testing is available in diverse areas including information technology, banking, insurance, and human resources. Go to www.pearsonvue.com for details. Certiport Ivy Tech teams with Certiport to offer the exclusive Microsoft Office Specialist program, as well as the Internet and computing Core Certification, and the World Organization of Webmasters exams. Learn more at www.certiport.com and join the certification revolution. CLEP CLEP is the most widely accepted credit-by-examination program. Students gain college credit by earning satisfactory scores in CLEP tests covering areas they already know. Go online at www.collegeboard.com.GREAT NEWS FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL!Military personnel are now eligible to take CLEP exams without paying the exam fee of $50 at any of Ivy Tech Community College campuses that provide CLEP testing for the military. CLEP exams are funded by the military for members of the following groups. • Military personnel (Active Duty and Reserve) – Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, Army Reserve, Air Force Reserve, marine Corps Reserve, Navy Reserve, Coast Guard Reserve, Army and Air National Guard. • Eligible civilian employees and spouses of participating Reserve Component and Coast Guard personnel. • Department of Defense Acquisition Personnel (only eligible for the following computer-based exams: Principles of macroeconomics, Principles of microeconomics and Principles of Marketing). College Placement Exams The Testing Center also offers college placement exams from ACT, ASSET and COMPASS. Mondays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesdays: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesdays: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursdays: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Fridays: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Testing center is closed on holiday weekends.)
GED Ivy Tech Sellersburg is a state-approved GED testing site. For GED services and schedules, go to the Testing Center at www.ivytech.edu/sellersburg. Computer Certification Center The Ivy Tech Computer Certification Center offers quality computer certification training. Each semester a schedule of credit courses is offered for certification areas. Courses are available on-campus and online. Customized certification training for companies is also available.
