Electronic Authorization Process
Electronic Authorization Process for First Time Financial Aid Students:
This is a reminder to all Ivy Tech Students who are receiving Financial Aid for the first time. You may have already received and acted on this email previously. If so, no further action is necessary on your part.
Students will need to go to Campus Connect to electronically authorize their financial aid to pay book store and other miscellaneous charges. This authorization will allow your aid to be released to the Follett Bookstore to charge books and to allow payment of other miscellaneous charges on your account for spring semester. You may also manually sign an authorization form at your campus Bursar's Office. If your aid was authorized for the fall semester, you do not need to repeat these steps.
Financial Aid Authorization for Book Store Charges and other Non-institutional Charges
1. Log into Campus Connect using your user id and password. https://cc.ivytech.edu
2. Select the Student Services Tab
3. Select option "View Your Account Online"
4. Select appropriate term (Spring 2009)
5. Select Student, Financial Aid and Account Summary
6. Select Financial Aid
7. Select Financial Aid Status
8. Select aid year and click submit button
9. Select to view your Student Requirements
10. Select "Authorize FA to Pay Charges other than Tuition and Fees"
11. Read form and choose whether to accept or deny the authorization.
Acceptance on the first option will allow books to be charged at the bookstore and allow other miscellaneous charges on your account to be paid as long as there is available aid after tuition and fees are covered. Acceptance of the second option will allow previous balances from the previous aid year only up to $200 to be covered by current semester financial aid.
12. Click submit button at bottom of authorization after choosing an option on both authorizations.
13. Exit the system.
14. Account at the bookstore should be available after 24 hours.
15. Contact the Bursar's Office if you have questions.
