Sellersburg Course Information

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Distance education courses from the Sellersburg campus require that you have (or have access to) a computer with the following items:

Internet access
Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator, or Mozilla Firefox web browser
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Reader software

The web browsers and software listed above are compatible with Campus Connect and eLearning and are frequently used in distance education courses. Please read the course syllabus carefully to make sure that you have all the necessary items for the course.

BOOKSTORE INFORMATION
Go to http://studentconnection.region13.ivytech.edu for a book list, order from and instructions for ordering. Orders may be placed via mail, fax, and email. Contact Nita Graves for more information.

LIBRARY INFORMATION
A variety of print and online publications can be accessed through the Paul Ogle Virtual Library. These resources can also be accessed via the Library tab on the Campus Connect web portal.

ACCESSING DISTANCE EDUCATION COURSES

Distance education courses are accessed through Campus Connect.

Upon accessing Campus Connect, students should click the “Courses” tab at the top of the screen. You will then click the Distance Learning Link. It will then give you a brief message regarding service (If you plan to take a test ...) you must then follow the link to the distance learning page for access to your course. A welcome page will be displayed and the courses will be listed under the “My Courses” heading.

TEST PROCTORING INFORMATION

The Testing Center, located in room G23, offers free test proctoring services to distance education students. Test proctoring procedures and hours are available by visiting the test proctoring web site.
