Livestock Management
The livestock industry is ever-changing and offers a wide variety of career opportunities. The Livestock Management concentration helps prepare students for these opportunities through coursework in animal physiology and nutrition, housing facilities, waste management, herd management, and marketing techniques to maximize productivity of a livestock herd or poultry flock. Positions in the livestock industry include herd/flock manager, feed/supply sales, veterinarian technician, meat inspector, or animal breeder.
