Our state is well-known for its corn and soybeans, but changing technology is broadening the scope of crop production in Indiana. In this concentration, you’ll study the science behind crop production, learning how to maximize profit and production, adapt to changing environmental conditions, and how to best use new technology in agronomic row crop management. Careers in with this concentration include fertilizer and pesticide applicators, seed agronomist, precision agriculture technicians, seed research technicians and home farm operators.
