The Associate of Science in Nursing Program is designed to accommodate two groups of students: those who are entering a nursing program for the first time and those licensed practical nurses or certified paramedics seeking educational mobility to the associate-degree level. As a graduate of the ASN program, you will be eligible to apply to take the NCLEX-RN examination to become registered nurses. You may seek immediate employment as nurses or choose to transfer their credits to a four-year institution offering a baccalaureate degree.

"Ivy Tech was the opening door to my success. It allowed me to figure out who I was and develop leadership. I now hold a bachelor's degree in Nursing Science due to the transfer of credits to Indiana State University, and I am currently working on my master's degree."
