Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society
for two-year colleges. Its purpose is to recognize and promote academic
excellence by providing leadership development opportunities for
service in chapter activities on campus and through regional Phi
Theta Kappa activities.
To be considered for membership in Phi Theta Kappa,
a student must:
- Be in a degree-seeking program pursuing either a technical
certificate or an associate degree
- Have completed 12 semester hours of coursework toward a degree
- Have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
