Student Loan Deferment Requests & Insurance Reporting

Student Loan Deferment Requests that are completed by the student and submitted to the Registrar's Office are processed ten (10) days from the start of each term. The College sends ALL requests to the National Student Clearinghouse who processes the requests and sends enrollment data to the student's guaranty agency.

Most insurance companies provide a form that requires the College's completion of enrollment status. If an insurance company does not have a form, a Student Records Release form can be obtained from the Registrar's Office. All requests take 1 to 3 days for completion and are mailed directly to the insurance company. Students must have a satisfied fee obligation to the College in order for the Registrar's Office to certify enrollment status.
