Your New Student Advisors
Richmond
Christine Rethlake , Director of Admissions:
Chris started with Ivy Tech Community College in December 2007. She is excited about her new position and looks forward to assisting students in their educational journey. Chris oversees the recruiting and new student advising programs and is the College for Working Aldults Coordinator. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Communication, a Master of Arts in Student Affairs, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration.
Linda
Przybysz, Assistant Director of Admissions:
Linda has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Ball
State University. She has been with Ivy Tech Community College of
Indiana since 1983. Her primary responsibilities include, but are
not limited to, new student advising and recruiting, specifically
nontraditional students. Linda is also the International Student
Advisor for the region.
Stephanie
Hill Alexander, Assistant Director of Admissions:
Stephanie Hill Alexander has worked in the Admissions Office at
Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana since 1996. She is a graduate
of Centerville High School, and she obtained her Bachelor of Art
degree in Communication Studies from Manchester College in 1993.
Stephanie works primarily with high school age students promoting
Take A Course On Us , financial aid resources, and programs
at Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana. Stephanie also serves
as an adjunct member of faculty.
Ken
Christmon, Assistant Director of Diversity Affairs:
Ken has over 30 years of administrative experience in higher education,
serving as a student advocate, recruiter, advisor, and retention
advocate. He is a graduate of Allen University and also attended
Earlham College, Indiana University East, and completed several
hours of student service training. Ken's primary responsibilities
include the recruitment, matriculation, advisement, and graduation
of minority students. Ken is committed to helping students from
all walks of life.
Tiffany Erk, Director of Student Life/Evening Coordinator
Tiffany has worked with Ivy Tech since 2004. She developed a mentoring program before becoming the Director of Student Life/Evening Coordinator. She is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in English, a Master of Arts degree in Adult and Community Education and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree. Tiffany’s primary responsibilities include advising the Student Government Association and Student Leadership Academy, working with all student organization advisors, planning student events and coordinating the Ivy Tech basketball team. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member since 2005.
Connersville
Jeff Plasterer, Director of Admissions: Jeff has been with the college since 1986. He worked in several departments within the College before becoming the Director of Admissions in 2000. In 2007 he was named the executive director of Ivy Tech’s Connersville Campus. In that capacity he is responsible for the day to day operation of the campus including the recruitment and advising of students at the Connersville site. Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Miami University and a Master of Public Administration degree from Ball State University.
Brenda Bennett, Director of Student Support and Development
Brenda has worked with the college since 1991. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. She enjoys working with students in the area of advising and registration, and soon she will be working with students to help create student activities for the Connersville site. Brenda, also, is an adjunct faculty member. |
