Time Zones

About time zones in Indiana

During winter months (late October through early April), seven of our campuses are in areas that use Central Time, while the rest of the state is on Eastern Time. The campuses on Central Time include Gary, East Chicago, Valparaiso, and Michigan City in the Northwest and Evansville and Tell City in the Southwest.

Also, our Madison, Lawrenceburg and Sellersburg campuses observe both Standard and Daylight Savings time. Starting the first Sunday in April, they go on Eastern time while the rest of the state is on Central Time.
