Equipped with knowledge and skills acquired at Ivy Tech, students increase their earning potential and in turn put that money back into the local economy.

The Ivy Tech Foundation, through your gifts, helps students meet the cost of higher education. The Foundation's scholarship fund helps fill the gaps left by traditional student financial aid programs, and creates opportunities for students who otherwise might not be able to attend college. And, because these students are likely to remain in the community, they will use their education to contribute to the area's economic growth.

Gifts to the Ivy Tech Foundation make it possible to award more than $75,000 in scholarships each year. Your gift will help the Foundation continue this important work.

Your gift helps provide a technological edge

As a technical college, one of Ivy Tech's challenges is to stay on the leading edge of technology so that students are prepared for the changing workplace. Gifts to the Ivy Tech Foundation help the College purchase classroom and lab equipment needed to give students the technical education they need to be productive members of the work force.

Gifts to the Foundation enabled Ivy Tech to purchase a new CNC turning lathe, new microscopes, and upgrade computers in the Learning Center to meet the increasing demands for e-Learning.

Gifts to the Foundation also enabled the College to purchase reference materials, scientific equipment and new electronics lab equipment. Donors can specify the departments or programs to receive their gifts.

Gifts for faculty and staff development provide for professional development workshops and seminars to help Ivy Tech attract and retain highly qualified faculty and staff.
