Practical Nursing Program Information

The Practical Nursing (PN) Program is a selective admission program designed for students seeking a Technical Certificate in Practical Nursing.  Graduates of the PN Program are eligible to apply to take the NCLEX-PN examination to become licensed practical nurses.

It is important to understand that admission to the college is separate from admission to the PN Program.  Contact Student Affairs for information about the Ivy Tech Community College admissions process and requirements for being program-ready.

The nursing programs are currently in the process of revising the nursing curriculum.  We are unable to provide detailed information about the new changes until all curriculum approvals have occurred.  Please see the Nursing Program Overview and Application Booklet ( 557K download) for the preliminary information announcement.
